The video work ''Debris Remembers'' speculates on ongoing state- led demolitions in India. It delves into the aftermath: looking at debris as the last witness to a violence otherwise masked as bureaucratic routine. It's when architecture becomes a tool of punishment and urban space a site of erasure of marginalised bodies. The video linger on rubbles and residue of domestic spaces, therefore asking: what does the Debris Remember, as machines of demolition quietly redraw the city’s cartography?
