Prashant Chavan (b. 1993, Mumbai, India) is a visual artist and architect based in Cologne,
Germany. He holds an MA in Architecture from the Städelschule in Frankfurt. Working across video, animation, sculpture, readymades, and installation, his practice explores the intersections of memory, media, and historical reconstruction, with a focus on colonial histories and institutional power structures.

Prashant has participated in various group exhibitions at institutions including the Frankfurter Kunstverein, Kunsthalle Darmstadt, Gudskul invited artist at Documenta Fifteen, 1822-Forum Frankfurt, Kulturhof Kalk - Cologne, and the Landesmuseum Innsbruck. Prashant has worked in various collaborative constellations and interdisciplinary formats. He has a curatorial experience of organizing various community based art projects with his artist collective commune6x3.
