Artist Sarah Schoderer was invited to the group exhibition ‘Bloom’ at Studio West of the Kunsthalle (Dec 4, 2021 – Jan 9, 2022), she wanted to show not only her paintings on canvas but also something that questioned what painting could become. That’s where our collaboration began. Together, we developed a Video animation called Landschaft in Blau, Gelb und Rot (Land- scape in Blue, Yellow, and Red). Sarah first created and painted a physical model, and then using Photogrammtery I scanned and transformed it into a digital environment. What emerged in the end was a video — a work that no longer stayed within the frame of the painting and canvas, but instead tested how far the language of painting could be expanded. 

The video was also graphically installed at Frankfurter Kunstsäule which is a 360° open-air gallery in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen that transforms a traditional advertising column into a public art space.
